Lightening L Ranch is accessed from Hwy. 16 with a turn-off on R360, which reaches the ranch entrance approximately 5 miles from the highway. There are two low fences on the east and west sides of the ranch, and a high fence on the north and south sides. There are two large tanks, one of which holds fish, and three smaller tanks which levels fluctuate with rainfall. Tank 1 has never dried up.
