The ranch ranges from lower flats at an elevation of approximately 7,030 feet to a high point of about 7,100 feet. Vegetation on the ranch caries from juniper and pinyon with a few ponderosa on the higher points to sagebrush on the flats interspersed with grama, brome, and wheat grasses and well as a variety of forbs.
Hunting
Located in unit 5A the hunting is excellent in the area and elk and deer often visit the property.
Fishing
There is great fishing at some close by lakes such as Heron Lake, El Vado Lake and Abiquiu Lake as well as fishing on the Rio Chama. See links below.
