Blaylock Road divides the property, and there is an underground cattle crossing through a tunnel beneath the road.There are several gated entrances to the various paddocks. The fencing appears to be in good shape.. The land has been leased for hay production over the past few years, and is not currently being grazed. The land lays very well, and is gently rolling. The highest elevation is in the northwest corner behind the house. The property has been surveyed.
What I like about this farm-The terrain is gently rolling, and almost all of this property is usable. It would make a good working cattle farm and recreational/hunting property. There is a lot of nostalgia on this farm, and you can see the way the family has cared for this land for over a century. The owners very much care about getting good people who will take care of the farm in the future.
The farm is about 5 miles west of Sulligent, ~70 miles north of Tuscaloosa, 100 miles from Birmingham, 23 miles to Amory, MS, 14 miles to Guin, AL, and 60 miles to Jasper, AL.
