WILDLIFE:
To say this ranch has an abundance of wildlife does not do it justice. Large populations of whitetail deer are consistently observed along with a free-ranging herd of monster axis deer on occasion. The ranch and surrounding areas are loaded with Rio Grande turkeys while several coveys of Bob White Quail have also been spotted recently. Brady is the crme de la crme of deer hunting in the Texas Hill Country in many serious deer hunters eyes. The mystique of this region was first started with the Brady Buck taken over a century ago. As mentioned earlier, it was harvested in the Brady area and is reported to be the largest free ranging whitetail Texas has ever produced- scoring an incredible 284 3/8ths B&C.

The ranch has an idea wildlife habitat including a myriad of hardwood trees and native tall grasses providing excellent forage for both livestock and wildlife. Elevation ranges from 1,880ft at the lowest point to 2,030ft at the highest point. The undulating hills allow for long range views to various points miles in the distance in many areas. Sprawling Live Oak motts are scattered around all portions of the land along with Shin Oak, Red oak, Mesquite, some Juniper trees. Lower fertile bottom lands to gently sloping and gently rolling hills exemplify classic McCullough County terrain.
