Wow is all I have to say! I have been all over Missouri hunting the last 30 years chasing whitetails and I have never seen a farm with so much whitetail habitat. This 280 m/l acre farm, of which 99 acres is in CRP paying $161 /acre, is incredible. The timber is the perfect amount of mast producing trees and security cover. The timber was select cut about 5 years ago to allow more undergrowth for deer habitat. You can see in the pics just how thick and gnarly these woods are. I walked the entire farm and in places it was so thick you couldnt walk through, but dont worry, there are still plenty of logging roads and trails. I spent over 4 hours walking this farm - I jumped rabbits, saw a big gobbler, and jumped so many deer I lost count. A current staff member harvested a Booner on this very property last year by just showing up and throwing a climber in a tree. Imagine what you could do if you had time to plant food plots and scout all year round!
