I am Jane Hunter Hicks, and I have lived in the Middle Tennessee area for my entire life. My family moved to Murfreesboro in 1975. I graduated from Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, TN, in 1987 and earned a B.A. in Business from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, in 1990. In 1996, I obtained my real estate license and began specializing in new construction, particularly the launch of the Princeton Hills subdivision. Shortly after, I became certified in Land Development and served as both the listing agent and project manager for the Princeton Hills subdivision. In 2001, after selling all the lots in Princeton Hills, I continued in residential sales. As the market continued to rise, I took the opportunity to become actively involved in buying and flipping houses while still providing exceptional service to my clients. My father was a builder and developer for many years in Murfreesboro, operating as Bill Hunter Construction. He was nominated as one of two Southern Living Builders in Middle Tennessee, and it was his business that sparked my interest in real estate and construction. In 2008, I transitioned to a new brokerage where I was recognized as one of the top 25 agents in Middle Tennessee in 2010. In October 2011, I returned to my previous firm, where I consistently rank as one of the top agents. I believe in a strong work ethic, honesty, and perseverance. I am dedicated to excellence and the mastery of my profession, often investing countless hours to improve my skills.
