They were given to expect gigantic development virtually overnight. This did not happen, and a backlash developed. Prices plummeted, and to this day the prices are still very low. Now you should closely consider buying these. With the light rail system to Albuquerque, the new expanded Facebook Data Center in Los Lunas, and the planned road corridor coming that will link Interstate Highway 25 with State Highway 47, there's a lot of excitement in the area. The legacy of the past is such that even with all this local activity, prices on these properties have not yet jumped up.
These lots have excellent Manzano Mountains views. You could buy for investment, or to build your dream off grid scenic home now. There are no time restrictions on when to build, there are no requirements that you must build, and there are no association fees. Cell phones are normal. We're told that water wells in the area are between 150 and 300 feet deep, you might want to contact a local well driller and explore that possibility.
