Over the Mississippi River Levee Hunting on WRP
Some of the best deer hunting in Louisiana happens inside the Mississippi River Levee. This 198-acre tract is no exception. Deer numbers and quality are very good. Deer travel up and down the country on the unprotected side of the River Levee. This tract does not border the actual Miss. River channel but borders Old River, straight across from Glasscock Island, one of the most famous deer hunting locations in the state. Roseland, another storied location, is within sight. Directions
From the intersection of Hwy 15 and Hwy 565 south of Vidalia, La. Go north on 15 to the next road going up on the levee. Turn right. The property is app 5 miles on the left.
