It's in a great location on a straight line flyway between Bald Knob NWR, and Steve N. Wilson Raft Creek WMA which it borders to the south. Both of these public use areas hold large amounts of wintering waterfowl. Right at 60 acres of this property flood naturally each year, and, when the White River is out of its banks, all of the 160 acres flood. The trees were planted on this property in 2002, and allow good cover to hide when hunting. There are two duck holes in the trees on the northeast end of the property for up close and in your face mallard hunting, and the moist soil units on the south side of the property allow for good open water mixed bag skid blind hunting.
