Reno County, KS has long been known for its giant whitetails, this farm is no different. Looking through the last couple years of trail camera pictures will let you know this acreage follows suit. The 40+ acres of native grasses allows for great deer bedding. While walking the farm, I counted well over 10 deer beds. The grass may provide the bedding, but the cottonwood trees and other mix timbers supply plenty of tree stand locations.

Not to be outdone by the whitetails, the upland bird population is as strong as can be. The pheasant population is very solid on the farm and the quail whistled from start to finish throughout the property. The whistle of the bobwhite has been lost through the years, but not on this acreage. The turkey population although not overwhelming, definitely exist in the neighborhood. The current owners report seeing groups of birds regularly throughout the spring.

Now to the barndominium. What looks like a storage building from the outside turns into the ultimate stay and play from the inside. The 2018 built and over 3,000 square feet allows for ample storage.
