Bidding on this land auction will begin at 8:00 am CST Friday, March 3rd, and will end at 12:00 noon CST on Thursday, March 9th. The Auction will "soft close" with 5 minute increments until 5 minutes elapses with no new bids.
This Auction is for 653 + acres, consisting of CRP land and Grassland. There are 587.2 acres enrolled in the CRP program with an annual payment of $17,178.00. The Buyer shall become successor to any USDA FSA Conservation Reserve Program contract, which expires in 2020. The 2017 CRP payment shall convey to the buyer. The CRP contract shall be in compliance at the time of closing. The CRP grass is very good at this time, and should offer good grazing when the CRP contract expires.
The remainder of this property is grassland (66 + acres). There is a small rock quarry that has provided rock for both the County and the State. The only fences are on the east side....
