On my first trip walking the property I kicked up a big covey of quail along the north border. There were 20+ birds in the covey and I eventually found several roosting sites on the property. There were turkey scratches under the pin oaks in the timber on the south side and tracks in the ditches. There are also many nice food plot locations as well.

The cost-share programs provided by MDC will fit nicely into the tract. With the addition of some native warm-season grasses and some TSI work and edge feathering, this property will blossom into its full potential.
