Southern Cochran CRP Tracts

Large contiguous tract of CRP in southern Cochran County. Soil consists primarily of Amarillo and Patricia classifications of sandy loam and loamy sand and farm is mostly level. This tract of land is in an area with irrigated land situated on its north, east and south borders which would suggest possibility for either development of land for farming practices such as cotton and peanuts or potential for use of water for other uses. CRP contracts are up in 2022. Land could also be used for hunting and primary game would consist of deer, quail and dove and possibly antelope. Large Tract is comprised of two smaller tracts which are about one section each, and owners may consider dividing, depending on offer.
