The Orchard was started 25 years ago by an experienced orchardist and has been groomed into a successful business that has over 4,500 followers on Facebook. The property consists of 35 acres which includes a 66 x 80 sales barn, 20 x 40 pavilion, small storage barn, gazebo, 1325 square foot 2 bedroom 2 bath Ranch style home, and other small outbuildings for storage. The entire Orchard is surrounded by Hi Tensile fencing to keep the deer off the property and is gated at several locations for easy access. There are two irrigation ponds on the property and the Orchard has underground piping installed throughout if irrigation is needed, and there is a well at the main house that provides over 40 gallons a minute that has also been used for irrigation.

The Orchard has become so popular in the past years that is it typically picked clean by the end of the season. Raspberries are also planted that produce throughout most of the summer. The sales barn has two kitchens, two large coolers one of which is a drive-in cooler and the other a walk-in, designated chemical spray storage room, tool and repair shop area, and an office area. The sales room area is tastefully decorated with country dcor and there is additional income produced from outside local products, such as honey, maple syrup, cider, gift baskets and various other baked goods. The owners currently make their own jams and doughnuts which are a huge hit with the customers. Other products sold at the store include bagged apples, peaches, plums and raspberries. Currently there are over 20 varieties of apples planted in the Orchard with honey crisp accounting for almost 30% of the plantings. The majority of the apple trees are high density dwarf trees on wire and trellis most of which are coming into their peak of production. Some of the more popular varieties planted include honey crisp, crimson crisp, gala, empire, Cortland, McIntosh, Fuji and many others. There are two varieties grown on the Orchard that only a select number of growers in New York State can grow Snap Dragon and Ruby Frost both of which are very unique and growing in popularity.
