Rainfall/Elevation: Elevations range from 1800' in the draws to 1912' at the highest point. According to the Texas State Historical Society, annual rainfall averages 22.36".

Cover: Cover on the ranch ranges from mainly heavily wooded areas of mesquite, cedar, and hackberry, to some more open areas that have been grubbed in years past. The draws contain western soapberry, willows, and hackberry. There is also lots of browse for wildlife including little leaf sumac, ephedra, algerita, and elbow bush to name a few.
