About John McMackin & Dan Goad
John Thomas McMackin, born and raised in west Fort Worth, attended Arlington Heights High School. In 1990 John graduated from Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Real Estate. When it comes to serious, raw, real estate development, John has well over a decade of hands on experience. From small commercial office projects in Granbury, TX, to large industrial warehouse projects in Washington, DC., John can do it all. Johns tenure as a true real estate developer has given him in-depth exposure and knowledge to all facets of commercial real estate development. He is eager to put that knowledge and experience to work for you. Johns personal philosophy isnt just words, its a principle he lives by: There is no better gift that you could give a young person than to introduce them to Gods great outdoors! Dan was born in Sherman, Texas and also lived in Waco before graduating from Martin High School in Arlington. He earned his bachelor's degree from North Texas State University in Psychology in 1992. Dan has been involved in sales in some form his entire adult life. His success in that arena comes from his sincere enjoyment of people and his love of negotiating a good deal. Dan brings a love of ranching from early days at his granddad's ranch near Norman, Oklahoma to his life in the beautiful Texas hill country and his own ranch near Abilene before he and his wife Shelly and son Newt moved to the Rocky Creek Ranch Subdivision in southwest Fort Worth/Crowley. They enjoy their home and their horses along the trails to Benbrook Lake.Dan and Shelly enjoy their involvement with Southwest Christian School where Newt is a student. Dan loves hunting and has been a long time team roper. With his family he enjoys camping, skiing, travel and entertaining family and friends.
